Meet the Owners

Scott & Tina Wilson

Scott and Tina were first introduced to pickleball while visiting friends in Boca Grande, Florida in 2017. While living in Summit County, Colorado, they played the sport during the short summers in local parks. Pickleball was the couples’ catalyst for making new friends.

Scott has an extensive background in entrepreneurship, having opened several successful businesses over the last 35 years. In 2003 he founded Colorado Backcountry Rentals in Frisco, CO, a large snowmobile and ATV rental business. In 2010, the couple ventured into the culinary world, opening Cameez, an ice cream, coffee, and crêpe shop in Dillon, Colorado.

They raised their 4 children in Summit County, Colorado. While there they were very active in the community. Scott served as Chief Chaplain to the Sheriff’s Department and all the emergency personnel in the area. He also served as part of the Summit County Search and Rescue Group. During those same years Scott founded and pastored Summit Church, Colorado. His motto and encouragement to others has always been “Go Give Em Heaven.” He recognized the world is always trying to “give us hell”, so let’s… “go give em heaven”. His passion is for people to understand that Jesus desires a personal relationship with them. Scott is always clear… “I love Jesus, people and the Bible”.

Scott’s commitment to community and sports extended beyond business endeavors. Since 2002, he has officiated high school and college football, baseball, basketball and lacrosse games, including evaluation work with the NFL. Additionally, he administrates and directs Wes Bookers Official’s Football Camp in Arkansas each year, mentoring over 200 college football officials annually.

Scott’s journey took a global turn when he established a nonprofit “Exchange Ministries” where he combined his passion for teaching the Bible with business consulting. Scott has traveled worldwide to empower small businesses and churches. He enjoys seeing businesses grow and people change.

Fueled by their love for the game, their entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to serve the community, Peak Pickleball was conceived. Scott and Tina’s desire for Peak Pickleball is to create a welcoming community space where individuals of all ages can come together, fostering connections through the inclusive and engaging game of pickleball. They aim to be a place where young, middle-aged, and older adults intersect, build friendships, and feel accepted for who they are. Here at Peak Pickleball, everyone is known by their name, and new friendships are made every day.

Scott says, “when you learn the game and find lasting friendships that’s when you experience the PEAK of PICKLEBALL!”
